Does anyone know how to find WW1 records of German soldiers? My Great Uncle was Wolfgang Hautmann and he was in the 25th Bavarian Infantry killed on April 7, 1916. I have his personnel roster but we would like to know any details of his death and if he was awarded any medals. We also would like to know if he was buried or MIA. Any help would be appreciated.
