Surnames: Mahar, Wilson, Kelly
Could anyone tell me if there would be a government record listing the names of the soldiers who fought for the British in the French and Indian war 1756-1763.
I am looking for the soldiers who fought in Louisburg Nova Scotia and on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec, Canada.
I am looking for a Edmund Mahar, Robert Wilson, Luke Kelly.
These would be Irishmen who joined the British army.
Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My website has a partial listing of the soldiers in the 60th Regt. of Foot (His Majesty's Royal Americans) under Col Bouquet during the French & Indian War. And also a time-frame of battles and the "Reduction of Quebec".
Hope it is of help in your research.

Surnames: Wilson
There is a Robert Wilson listed in Capt. Alexander Campbell's company roster as receiving half-pay when Fraser's 78th Highlanders disbanded in 1763. He is listed in my book, 'His Majesty's Courageous Highlanders' which can be found on Amazon.com

Book description:
Anthology of original letters; muster rolls; payment ledgers, and historical records from the private collection of Major James Clephane of Colonel Simon Fraser's 78th Highlanders regiment which fought in the French and Indian War in North America, 1757-63. Transcribed from original records contained at the Scottish National Archives, together with anecdotal supplemental literature relevant to the conflict. Full name index included.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey
