Calvin C. Britt enlisted as a private in the 51st NC Infantry,co E on 3/9/1863 at Charleston,SC. He was a resident of Robeson county,NC.He was a 31 year old farmer. He was killed 5/14/1864 at Drewry's Bluff,VA.

I dont know of a regimental history that is available for this unit. There is probably some info out there somewhere.
