I have William Alexander Mitchell signing up with the Imperial Hospital Corps on the 26th June 1900, he re-enlisted on the 4th February 1901 at Newcastle, South Africa, and was discharged on the 11th November 1901.

On the Nominal Roll he is recorded as Wm Alex Mitchell, I have a copy of his 'Form of Enrolment' he is recorded as William Mitchell, 32 years old and a Brass Finisher.
