I would be very interested to hear of this man's history. There was a Charles Lynott who had a shop in Ballina in King Street around 1860s/1880s(he lived in Durkin's Lane). He sold up and went to Dublin. From his family members' offsprings was born Philip Lynot, the great Irish pop star musician, whose mother is still alive in Dublin.
