I am looking for any info on Martin Slonski, dob 9 Oct 1883, b. Slone, Malopolskie, Poland (Galacia) dod 2 July 1925. His brother, Joseph Slonski, dob 27 Jan 1892, Slone, Galacia. Both are said to have served in the military & later returned from Siberia very ill and died within several yrs. I would like to know if they were wounded or POW's. I have searched the Kramerius website but haven't been able to locate them. I would like to know for certain what military and where they served and what caused them to die within 7 yrs of the end of WWI.

Also, I need help in locating my gr uncle on my maternal grandmother's side, her brother, Joannes Zamarlo, said to have been in the Austrian Cavalry. He was born in Spytkowice, Galacia (now near Rabka, Poland) on 20 May, 1892. I have a vague memory of a picture of him on his horse with my grandmother standing next to him.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in locating the military records of these gr uncles.
Sincerely,
2bherd

Dear Mohnbuer,

I use this post to get in touch with you. I an not sure you can help, but let's hope so. Thing is that I have a photocopy of a "Bohmisches Infanterie Regiment". The name of my great great grandfather is listed as one of the Caderen.

Furthermore it says "1848 Constantin, Grossfurst van Russland".

Now I am looking for where to get more information about this regiment, and hopefully about him. When did he join and leave this regiment. See attachment.

I hope you can give me some hints about useful resources (on the internet).

Appreciate your help,

Jaro Nesvadba
