I am not very sure who I should contact or what websites I should visit to get the following information. My grandfather served in the Austria-Hungary army in the cavalry. He was born in 1888, so I'm not sure what dates he would have served. I do know he came from Bukovina area. Would these records be on file?

Any help you may give would be greatly appreciated. I do have a picture of him in his uniform and it would be wonderful to have a piece of family history to tell.
