Dear Sir,

I have read your mesage in that you are inquiring about the Count Hoyos family mentioning your grandfather Cherubino Kirchmayr.

I would be very grateful if you would be so kind to give me some information about the life of your grandfather. I have found a document in an internet database that is speaking about his settlement in England.

Regarding the Hoyos family (their name rightly written is HOYOS) I suggest to consult a book and some web pages that will give you some essential literature to begin with. Beginning with you will find some essential information in the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Hoyos;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander,_Count_of_Hoyos), then there is for example this book written by a family member of the Hoyos family (http://books.google.com/books/about/With_a_Rifle_in_Mongolia...), or there is an interesting information about the activities of the Hoyos family (http://www.hansonclan.co.uk/Royal%20Navy/rw.htm).

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Terézia Bardi
