Hello
I am interested in this son and father below. I am interested in any information, about the men of this Battallion/Regiment. I am also trying to find where George Sr went. Also how to go about finding these records in an archive.

"Enlisted with Colonel Samuel Miles' 1st Battalion, Pennsylvania Regiment of Riflemen on May 2, 1776. Assigned to Captain Lewis Farmer's Company Unit, which was mainly on Garrison duty at "Liberty Island", in Philidelphia until the end of July, 1776. Musters show that while there, George Sr enlisted with the same Battalion and was assigned to the same Company as his son."

"...only 37 were present for the muster at King's Bridge. While George Sr was accounted for, George Jr was listed as "missing since the Battle of Long Island".

Thanks
Laura
