BRAZIL
I am seeking the parents of Byrd W. BRAZIL who was b. 1764 NC and d. 1845 Hancock Co GA. He enlisted 5 May 1776 in Chatham Co NC. He served in Captain William BRINKLEY's Co with the 3rd NC Regiment commanded by Col. William ALSTON as a Private. He marched to Charleston SC and then on to Savannah, GA and then on to Ossabaw Island. He went on to Bell Haven on the Potomac and then on to General Washington's headquarters at Valley Forge.
