Hooper's wife (mother of my great-grandmother Sarah Jane Hooper) did marry the Hodges (his friend who survived the Sultans sinking). I have a picture of the wife (a Householder) and my Gr.grandmother Sarah Jane Hooper. I also (somewhere) have copies of her application for a pension.
Sarah Jane married George Thomas whose son Harvey was my grandfather.
Somewhere, I also have a picture of Hooper and Hodge. They are mentioned in some of the Sultana books.
