Caswell C. Tipton was in the 3rd TN Cav,co B,private.He is listed as Lived,went to Gayoso Hospital for exhaustion. There was also a James Tipton and Peter H. Tipton in the same company that both survived. James went to US Sanitary Commission Soldiers Home and Peter went to Overton Hospital for a slight contusion. Both were privates
