Martha Allen Carrier was my 9th g. aunt and was born about 1654 in Andover,Mass. Obviously she was one of the handful of supposed "Witches" who was hanged during the trials of 1692. Her prosecutor was judge Hathorne also my ancestor. Martha was the fourth of 6 children of my 9th g. grandparents,Andrew Allen and his wife Faith Ingalls.Martha married Thomas Carrier in May of 1674 where they had 6 children. Thomas Carrier died at age over 101 in Colchester, New London, Connecticut. I have the Ingalls line back to Skirbeck, England in the late 1400's but very little on the Allen family.

Andrew and Faith's second daughter Sarah and sister to Martha was my 8th g grandmother who married Samuel Holt in 1669. Samuel descends from Nicholas Holt of Andover. I have Holt, Abbot,Abbott,Chandler,Dane, and Carriers and Ingalls in my line if you desire more information.
