That's completely different because there are still living member's of Jackie's family who knew and loved her personally. You're talking about a woman who lived so long ago, no one alive even knows someone deceased who knew her. It's also different because being a crack whore is undeniably negative - but in this book, although a "witch", the character is portrayed as a GOOD person who just tries to help people. It's also completely different because the vast majority of people don't believe witchcraft is real, therefore they will dismiss the inaccuracy as fiction anyway.
Sorry but that just isn't comparable.
And I never said there was anything wrong with being a lawyer (one of my good friends is one), just certain types of them...
