Surnames: Collins, Ingersoll, Riall
Your Hannah Collins (who married Nathaniel Ingersoll) was the daughter of Henry Collins and Anne Riall of Lynn, Massachusetts. No relation to Francis Collins that I can find. I will have to re-read Robinson to find the story of this Collins couple. The following from Newhall's History of Lynn, Mass.:
Page 151--"Henry Collins was a starchmaker and lived in Essex street. He embarked in the Abigail, of London, 30th of June, 1635. In 1639 He was a member of the Salem Court. He was born in 1606, and was buried 20, Feb., 1687, at the age of 81. His wife, Ann, was born in 1605. His children were Henry, born 1630; John, born 1632; Margery, born 1633; and Joseph, born 1635, and his descendants remain." The Abigail is the ship that arrived in Boston infected with smallpox on 1 Oct. 1636.
