The story you were told is correct. It happened here on Cape Cod. I can't repeat it as my "stuff" is packed away until my apartment is finished. Can't find anything.
Anyway, when this man stopped at this house he did hold this baby girl & said he would marry her when she was grown. I believe he was married at the time, but his wife died before the girl was grown & he did marry her.
Strange tales are sometimes true & often not.
I don't know why the email bounced, but since comcast took over attbi strange things happen. Pop ups galore that you can't get rid of, & "naughty" e-mails, that I just delete. Can't be bothered with that garbage.
