I thought it was NEHGR (I can see it in my mind!) but my notes read TAG (The American Genealogist) 39:40/41. for the contract.
I descend from their daughter Sarah who married John Scovill, also. My Mom was born in CT, but sent to Cape Cod after her parents died, married & died there.
I also have copied from "Records of the Particular Court of Connecticut 1639-1663" , p. 259, which tells of Mary's indictment. I think old Thomas wanted his neighbor, Mary Andrews, so didn't try to help his first wife, Mary. Most authors think he had one wife Mary, instead of both with first name Mary. I just discovered that a few years ago, thinking Mary Andrews was the mother.
