My name is Kristen. I've working on researching the family tree. I have a Victoria Catherine Proctor in my maternal grandmother's line. She was born on 3/17/1872 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, USA and died on 12/6/1924 in Cabin Creek, Kanawha, West Virginia, USA. She is my second great grandmother. She was the daughter of Richard Proctor and Caroline "Orphy" Morris. The couple had thirteen children together.
Richard Proctor was the son of Mayberry Proctor & Nancy Hudnall. Caroline was the daughter of Stephen Morris & Martha Nichols. Mayberry Proctor was the son of William Proctor & Joanna(Anna) Martin. Nancy Hudnall was born abt 1803 in VA and died June 12 1888. William Proctor was born in 1787, son of John Edward Proctor and Elizabeth Hudnall.
John Edward connects to George Proctor and Grace Haydon. So George is my seventh great grandfather on my maternal grandmother's side of the family. Does anybody else have this information? Is Victoria descended to the John Proctor of the Witch Trials?
