You did not express an opinion as to the ongoing controversy -- was or was not this Thomas Hardy's son, also named Thomas, the accused witch named by Joseph Ring in the 1692 trials? I continue to hold that he was NOT. I believe the accused Hardy of the trials was an entirely separate man, with a very different lifestyle, whose activities centered mostly along the Maine coast and the "sinful" city of Portsmouth/Great Island, NH.
