I've modified the Board Information popup on the boards I moderate just to personalize the message a little. All it takes is a little basic HTML and you can surf up the 'how to' using Google.

I agree with Joan that there's no need to try to reexplain the "rules" and most don't bother to read the board info anymore than they read the rest of the tripe that passes for rules.

It's a shame we can't pin messages like 99.9% of the other forums on the interwebs but like everything else regarding these forums, I'm not holding my breath waiting on ANC to upgrade.
