I don't think it is productive or helpful to repeat (and even perhaps MISSTATE) information that can be found elsewhere in the board FAQs, Help, or guidelines. Any time a board admins attempts to customize board info and RE-explain what it already included in the general board help texts they run the risk to confusing the posters or misstating the guidelines.

The only time I can see where customized info might be helpful is where there is something unique about your board's usage--and there are some boards that deviate from the general posting rules.
