Melinda,
I was alerted about this message by a cousin of mine, Nancy (Eberhardy) Mays. I have a rather extensive Eberhardy family tree, but I can't find the names you mention. I DO have a Leo Eberhardy of who I don't know much about. He is the son of Nicholas and Elsie (Rickert) Eberhardy. I have another Leo (son of Peter and Mathilda (Lammeyer) Eberhardy. But my family tree, of course is not complete. I only rely on what others give me.
Just so you are aware, ALL Eberhardy's are related. That much I know. You are related to us--we just have to find the common thread. If you can e-mail me and just give me as much as you know--parents, grandparents, great grandparents, any dates you know. There are some family members who we sort of lost track of. I try to track down people, but if they don't answer. . . I know there was a brother of my grandfather's--Nick (I met him once when I was a kid)--who moved out west. I just couldn't get that family to answer any of my letters. Heaven only knows where they are now. I know he was married and had four children, Leo being one of them. But I don't have any marriage information for Leo or any children--simply due to lack of information.
So if you could answer me, give me what you have, and I'll try to connect you and give you everything I have. It is an enormous family. A lot of the family had rather large families--10-12 kids. My dad was one of 12. We need to answer these questions while some of the older generation is still alive. I also have some fabulous stories in the family tree. I'll pass them on if you are interested.
