2010 Ferguson Family Reunion

The family of Nelson Ferguson are holding their 2010 Reunion at Scott County Park in Iowa. Nelson Ferguson had seven children. The six oldest children were born to Nelson’s first wife Christina (Morse) Ferguson. Their first child was a daughter named Ella whom married Fredrick French. Daughter Mary came next and was wed first to David Haskins, and then to Arthur Mead. Daughter Alice was born next and she married Calvin Rogers. The fourth child was their first son; named Lester who married Laura Culbertson. Son Clinton was their fifth child and married Anna Hursh. A son named Henry was born next and he would be wed to Lura Donahue. Nelson’s youngest was a son named Orrin whom he had with his second wife Margaret.

Where:
Buffalo Bill Shelter at Scott County Park
Park is about 9 miles North of Davenport, Iowa.

Date:
Sunday June 27th, 2010

Time:
11am. to 4pm. with a potluck lunch at noon.

What to Bring:
Old Photos, Stories, and Old Documents.
Camera to record the event and memories.
Also a dish/snack/etc. to pass.

Take exit 129 (Long Grove/Park View exit)
Turn right (East) at 267th St/Co Rd F41 (towards Park View)
Turn left (North) at Scott Park Rd
Turn right (East) onto 270th St
Turn left (North) into park at Scott County Park entrance
Take the 1st right
Buffalo Bill Shelter will be on your right
