In 1982 I was sent information re the Kepple-Klingensmith-Staymates reunion to be held at Bushy Run Battlefiend near Jeannette, PA...entrance to the area from Rt. 993. The article stated that the reunion was "always dated for the 3rd Saturday in July". The article was sent to me by the then-historian who lived in Leechburg, PA He also sent me a copy (bad copy) of a newsprint reproduction of Good Peter, a Chief of the Six Nations (1792). I would be happy to share what info I have since my family is from the Peter Klingensmith side (his brother was Philip). As the article states,"All Klingensmiths are cousins regardless of some forty ways it is spelled in German and English". To many who have inquired, there are many Klingensmith families in and around Tarentum, Leechburg, Ford City and Kittanning, PA. I believe there is still a pharmacy in Ford City by our name.
