ROMBERGER All-Family Reunion set for August 21

Surnames: Romberger Ramberger Rumberger Raumberger Rauchenberger
The reunion is set for Saturday, August 21st! As before, it will be at the beautiful Hill Church in Berrysburg PA where many Romberger forebears rest. This year we celebrate 257 years of Rombergers in the U.S.!

Besides bringing your family, please pass this on to other family who may have an interest too. We are actively seeking more people not only to attend, but to step up to the plate and help with planning future reunions too. Folks local to the area are especially in demand.

You will want to get your info packet (how to do that is below) and reserve quickly after that - by August 7 is appreciated because it affects food being ordered. A per-person donation is asked for at the door, and that's up to you. They have ranged from say, $7 to benefactors being very generous to the tune of several hundred. Bless them all!

The Rombergers are a well-documented family, and this year's reunion will have two historians in attendance- the past historian, Dr. John Romberger who is retiring, and the new one, Bob Averell. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore your own roots and ensure you and your line are linked too.

Folks are asked to bring a covered dish if conveniently possible, and if not, not to worry, there's always plenty of food. It's a beautiful place and an occasion for fine fellowship, conversation, a family meeting, viewing displays, and walking the cemetery. Also, there's a lot to do in the area (metro Harrisburg) so you can make a true trip of it if you choose.

Contact Frank Herzel today for an information packet at fherzel@aol.com

Whether you go this year or not, ask to be placed on the mailing list for updates and future invitations. This is a rare chance to have the benefit of people who truly know the family, and meet others of your clan, so take a minute and email Frank to get your packet.

Let's give Dr. Romberger, the outgoing founder, a warm send-off and show him that the over 20 years he has invested in our family, history and reunions will continue. Hope to see you there!
