It has been quite some time since I attended the Sparling family reunion. This summer we had a Sparling reunion here in Florida for the first time and had member from California,Maryland,and Indiana as well as different parts of Florida. My Great Grandfather was Dr John B Sparling and he lived in Whipple Ohio. My Grandfather was John B Sparling Jr.who lived in Vincent Ohio. My father was George H Sparling and I am of course named after him.We have traced our family name back to the migration from the Palatinate in 1709 to Ireland and then to this country. I brought a Sparling woman from Ireland to one of our Sparling Hewson Reunions several years ago but I have lost touch with her. I would love to hear from any of you who are related.
