I have a lead on my Pierce line (Mary Pierce m. William Seymour Pickett). According to the 1850 census, they lived next door to 43 year old Russel Pierce in Brookfield, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Russel was born in NJ around 1807. Perhaps he was Mary's brother and perhaps he's in your line. Have you learned more since your posting?
