I have information on that particular Charles Sanford Benbow (there were two born within 20 years of each other) on the website. I don't make any great effort to track surnames that are not Benbow, since my job as historian increases by a factor of at least 5 or so with each succeeding generation -- much harder than the factor of 2 when moving backwards in time. There are conflicting stories about the cultural heritage of the Bell family, and there may be some who have researched it more than I have.
