Melanie--I got an earlier e-mail about the 46th Reunion. Saw the new posting for the 47th. Was unable to get back to you and knew that you were busy with getting ready for the reunion.

I would really like to know more about the Lea Family members in Louisiana. My husband's grandmother was the youngest child of 12 children. Her grandfather was Alexander Lea and grandmother was Mary Ann May (possibly later Woods). Her father was Francis DeKalb Lea and her mother was Frances Jane Brumfield. They lived in St. Tammany, Washington,and East Feliciana Parishes. Could there possibly be a connection somewhere in here?

We just made a hurried trip through the South on our way to revisit Pensacola, Florida. I know there are Leas in Pride, LA. I was not able to get in touch with them however.

Would really enjoy hearing about your lineage.
