The info I have on Stephen, Anna family came from the Mormon Church. I have Stephen born abt 1735 in Zniam, Germany. Married Anna born in York Co. PA Their children were, Samuel b. 1758, John, b. 1760, Michael, b.1761, Elizebeth b. 1762, Stephen b. 1763, Barbara b.1765, Nancy b. 1767, Fraena b. 1769, Magdalan b. 1771. Think all were born in York CO.PA.
I have samuel b. June 6, 1758. Catherine, born 1764 in York Co. For their children, I have Catherine b. 1788, Jacob b. 3/1/1791, Adam, b. 1792,George, b. 1793, Susanna, b. 2/4/1794, John, b. 1796, Simon b. 2/5/1798, all in York Co, PA. Next was Michael b. 1802 in Montgomeery Co., VA. Marie, March 2/1801, Mary Margretta b. 6/28/1803, (Samuel if they are his parents, b. 10/5/1805),
Anna, b. 2/13/1809, and Joseph b. May 1, 1810. Michael and those following weere all born in Montgomery County, VA. I wonder if there could be an error in the records in Iowa. Alexander Blakley Ridinger was my ggrandfather, born in TN 5/16/1830. All information shows that Roda Blakley was his mother, not Mary. In the info I have on the Blakleys, Rhoda was only 6 years old when Samuel and Mary married! So records can be wrong. I also have not been able to find any information on a John and Catherine. None of the Johns fit agewise. Also another question wasn't Michael too young to be in the War of 1812.?. My grandfather always said there were two brothers came from Germany.???????
