In reply to your message, I'am afraid that the Ella's are different people. My great-grandmother's maiden name was Forty. Her married name was Irvin. She married Robert Irvin of Burnside, Louisiana. Robert(Pa Bob)father was white and his mother was Indian. Ella's father Richard was an African Slave sold in to slavery in Virginia. His wife was Maria, also and Indian maiden. My great-grand mother had two or three sisters and brother, but they would all have the name of Forty.
