Descendants of the families of William Eldridge Wax (1846-1912) and his wife, Margaret Carter Wax, William Caldwell Wax (1819-1897) and his wives, Lucretia Gillenwater Wax and Sarah Carter Wax will meet for the 66th Annual Wax Family Reunion Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the cafeteria of the Monroe County High School, Tompkinsville, KY. A potluck meal will be served at 12:30. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.

William Eldridge Wax and his father William Caldwell Wax, a veteran of the Civil War, are descendants of Jacob Wax (1787-1865) who served in the War of 1812. Jacob Wax was the 13th child of Revolutionary War soldier, Henry Wax (1745-1796) and his wife Margaret Geschwind Wax.
