Melba, I am not sure. I have tried to find out about this particular Mills. There was also a Moss Mills around there too. I don't know if that was his nickname or not. The Marion County census for 1850 shows an Elizabeth Mills 15 as head of household living near Morristown, with some siblings. She may have been a daughter to Elbert. At that time Morristown and I think most of Levy County were still under Marion County census. They were later divided and Levy was made into a separate county. In this census you will also find another two Mills men living in a boardinghouse. Maybe Marion county has a census for their site. I am not sure.
