I found this old post of the O'Leary Family Reunion in Ireland. I would love to be put on the email list for future reunions as I would love to bridge the gap of my own family history to Cork.

According to my ancestral records, my great-grandfather, John O'Leary, was born around 1848, in Cork (no village given). His father was James, mother was Catherine. Next documentation is an 1881 census where John and wife, Anastasia (Carpenter) lived in Salford, Lancashire England. John was a puddler at the Iron Works. John, Anastasia, and some (not all) of their children emigrated to USA in 1890. Ship to Boston, MA, USA, settled in Providence, RI, USA.

I was told as a child that I looked exactly like John's daughter (my grandmother) Anastasia O'Leary. I would like to plan my first visit to Ireland around the O'Leary reunion, if possible.

I'd be most appreciative of any info you can provide regarding future O'Leary gatherings.
