In view of the recent interest in Story Data and Family History, I intend taking my complete collection of photo-copies of the books - "Story's Wars in Ireland" and "An Impartial Account of the Wars in Ireland" Both written in 1691 and 1693 by Dean George Story, Chaplain to King William 111's Army 1689 - 93.
I will also take with me the extracts from Belfast Newsletter newspaper relating to John Storey - United Irishman & Presbyterian, hanged in Belfast for his part in the 1798 Rebellion.
There may be some time in the evenings at Catlowdy when we may exchange data on the many roots of Storys / Storeys from Cumbria / Northumberland / Ireland & later as they emigrated to Canada, the U.S., Australia & New Zealand. The Story / Storey World Network, driven so effectively by Jack Story (Indiana) now has representatives / webmasters in Canada, New Zealand, Ireland & the U.S. Jointly, we have accumulated huge amounts of data on the Story / Storey name worldwide and may just have that little piece of missing data which could make your Family Search complete.
