Act of marriage of Charles Marie Soing, joiner, born Ventose 11th of the 13th year (March 2nd 1805) in the community of Pont Aven, departement of Finistère, living in Quimper, legitimate son of age of the late Alain Soing, weaver and Anne le Cozre on one side; on the other side Marie Françoise Anne Cornou born Ventose 19th of the 10th year (March 10th 1802) in the community of Pont Croix department of Finistère, living in Quimper, legitimate daughter of age of the late Jean Cornou, carter and Jeanne le Castel living in Pont Croix. The publications of the present marriage were made in this city of Quimper, Sundays 13th and 20th of this April, according to the law and without any opposition. The birth acts of the betrothed, the death acts of the parents of the groom and father of the bride were handed down and attached to the register. These acts and the chapter six of the civil code about marriage were read by us the under signed civil officer. The mother of the bride is present and agrees to the marriage of her daughter. The present betrothed declared: one, Charles Marie Soing taking for wife Marie Françoise Anne Cornu; the other, Marie Françoise Anne Cornu taking Charles Marie Soing for husband. We the deputy civil officer of the town hall of Quimper in charge of the registry office, declared, in the name of the law, that they were married in presence of Charles François Jules Alexandre Girard retired officer, aged 54, Barthelemy Leroux, painter glazier aged 31 both living in Quimper , Emmanuel Honoré Bruzac, gardener, aged 25, living in Pont Labbé, cousin of the groom and Pierre Cornou, plowman, aged 32, living in Pont Croix, brother of the bride. The present act was read and Girard, Leroux and Brizac signed with us. The groom, the mother of the bride, Pierre Cornou declared not being able to sign when requested to do so.
