Hi
Can anyone tell me what the term La Sole Ley means. It is under the column "To Whom Authorized" on the soldiers effects record of Donald McDonald, and the full entry says "La Sole Ley Donald".
Many thanks in advance

Can you post an image of the record? "La Sole Ley" means "the only law" in Spanish, but that doesn't really make sense in this context. Perhaps you're misreading it?
