Thanks for all the input. I've emailed two of the libraries in Indiana that my family is from. I wanted to share this cool experience I learned about today.

Two summers ago some people from Sweden came and camped for a week at the campground we were at. We quickly became friends and we've kept up our friendship on facebook. In doing our ancestry I was running down my wife's tree and found out that some of her family were from Sweden. I sent my friend a message and asked him if he knew the town. He did and he asked me about the last name. Turns out that my wife and our friends may well be related. I'm gathering some information from our friend to confirm or deny that. How cool is it going to be if we find out that friends we met on complete accident were actually distant relatives? He sent me 55 pages of ancestry research on his ancestry and I'm going to work it over the next week or so.
