Can you give me any other names? Do you know the names of Ralph, George, and Susie's parents? Also, when were these three children born? Whom did they marry? In the diary, many of the friends and neighbors of the Shaws are mentioned, and it is possible that the children married one of them. Maybe we can link up here. I have done some census research on these families, trying to find out what happened to them. The diary is extremely interesting. It gives one a window into the daily lives of the people of the 1860-70s. The writer of the diary shares his emotions about people and events.
