It doesn't appear that you have received a reply to your questions. It has been a long time since I got my Illinois pioneer certificates. You might want to see my past postings on the topic for more information on the topic. I submitted my info. to the ISGS and received my certificates in the mail. You should check with the Illinois State Genealogical Society to see what their policy is about putting the submitted application papers into book form. The Prairie Pioneer Certificate books are very helpful. Once in a while, the new certificates (ancestor and spouse) are listed in the society quarterly.
