CAMERON - Funeral services for Dale James Shesler, age 53, of Gause, were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7 in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Billy Crow officiating. Burial followed in the Gause Cemetery.

Mr. Shesler died Wednesday, Oct. 3 in a Temple hospital following an illness.

Mr. Shesler was born April 9, 1954 in Hillsboro, WI to Thomas and Dorothy Champlin Shesler.

He worked as a laborer in the farming and ranching industry.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Long and his father, Thomas Gerald Shesler.

Survivors include his two sons, Junior Dale Shesler of Cross Plains and William Thomas Shafer of Cameron; two daughters, Dell Ann Shesler of Irving and Candy Ann Haney of Rockdale; mother, Dorothy Shesler of Cameron; four brothers, Wayne Shesler and Curtis Shesler, both of Cameron, Victor Shesler of Grand Prairie and Alvin Long of Gause; sister, Vita Johnson of Cross Plains; several grandchildren.
