It appears that your grandmother was the daughter of Julius D. Petsch who was born in Charleston, SC in 1807. In 1831 he married Martha Raworth. Julius D. Petsch was (several generations) an uncle of mine. His brother William was my grandfather. Their parents were Julius J. Petsch and Jane Darby Petsch. The Petsch family in Charleston dates back to Adam Petsch and his wife Catharina Miller Petsch.
