Searching for my GGGGrandmother Mary PINCKNEY, married William BARNES, about 1816 in Robenson Co., NC. She was listed in a book of prominent Texans, as,"being of the famous Pinckney family of the Old Palmetto State." William was a Methodist minister. I have a lot of information on the "famous" Pinckney family, but cannot link Mary to them. Any information very helpful. Thank you. Patricia
