Hi Norma,

Thanks for posting the information from the estate papers. It really had my head spinning trying to figure out who belonged to who.

Anyway, in my tree and several others I have viewed, we have Moses Calvin Grooms married to Ann Polson. After looking at the information you provided in the estate records from William Polson I believe these two Annies are the same person. The 1850 census list her in the same household with William Polson with the same children for herself and Moses Grooms. Now I am wondering if Moses Grooms and Moses Coker are the same person (the man simply called Grooms) or whether Annie was never married and was a Grooms and had children by both Moses Coker and William Polson. Anna Grooms is also the head of a Chestefield household in the 1840 census with children whose ages match with the 1850 census of William Polson household. Just want to see what you think or whether you came across any new information about Annie or the Grooms man. Thanks, Wayne
