Merry Christmas !!

My g-g- grandfather was Ainsley Polson, born about 1802, in South Carolina. From William Poulson's estate papers, I learned that William and Ainsley were half brothers, having the same mother but different fathers.

Ainsley married Mary Jane Crowley. I do not know who her parents were but since Jenny's (AJ Crowley's mom's) last name was Crowley, she and William may have been cousins. This is PURE speculation on my part. I do not know.

If you do decide to get a copy of William Poulson's estate papers, don't be discouraged because the handwriting is difficult to read in some places. If you have further questions after reading it, please feel free to ask.

There is a man in the estate papers referred to as "Moses Coker" and there's a man simply called "Grooms". Somehow, it seems that these two men are related because it states that after Jenny came to live with William, "Grooms" took some of William's cattle. I don't know how to interpret this except that it sounds like some sort of trade off; cattle for AJ. I don't know. You read it and tell me what you think.

You're quit welcome and Merry Christmas !!!
