I believe the McCants came to Ga with the Murray family. Murray's came to Burke Co, GA and then on to Houston and Taylor Co, GA.
There are some McCants buried and living in Taylor co. Ga. Try putting a message on Rootsweb for Georgia McCants and maybe you can connect from there back to S.C./
