Hello I lived at 41 Lindley St. from 1959 to 1968 and knew John and Albert who were my next door neighbours. We always knew John as Jack and he was a right character. He once took a donkey upstairs to bed with him. He was drunk at the time and did not remeber a thing next day. He lived there quite a time as my parents knew him from years before. Albert was always singing and often the worse for drink but both him and Jack were ok. My children often ran errands for them. Jack had a bad chest and a terrible cough and he died while we lived there. I do not know what happened to Albert after that.
