This is my dads brother who I never new as he died before I was born.
I followed your leads and printed the certificate that confirmed I have my dads brother.
I also tried the www.nationalarchives.gov.uk and downloaded a copy of Herberts medical card.
Herbert was awarded 3 medals, being Victory, British and the 1915 Star.
I will now search the nationalarchives a bit further.
I have lots of census info, so if you need anything looking up, let me know.
