I can't help with school records, but I think I may have found your ggGrandfather in 1871 aged 34 at Aldridge, Staffs. Piece 2966/folio 25. 1861 aged 25 at Nafferton, Yorkshire. Piece 2611/folio 11. 1851 aged 15 with parents & family at Wansford, Yorkshire. Piece 2366/folio 124. 1841 aged 5 with parents & family at Nafferton, Yorkshire. Piece 1215/folio 6/7.
