sorry for the lack of information on Emma I thought you would have been looking on the family tree.

Elsie and Betty were the daughters of Emma (nee Hargreaves) Glossop and Joan was Emma's grand daughter - Joan Taylor. Joan's father was killed in the war (Uden?) and sadly never saw her. At the side of the house is an archway to the back yard. The other daughter Betty married name Hadfield had children Denise and Paul and as far as I know they lived in the vicinity of (off Kilnhurst Road) the school - perhaps a little further down the road. I know that Emma Hargreaves' sister Annie Glossop (Mary Ann Hargreaves) lived across the road but I am not sure whether it was Goosebutt Street or the other street next to it. At the moment I am snowed under with different queries but I will digest the information you have given me and enter all of it on my database - I will get back to you on any link.
